The "Hook" strip keeps your ruler in place while achieving straight line designs!
When working with homespun fabrics, please don't slide the ruler across the fabric. The "Hook" strip may catch a thread. Simply lift and reposition.
The incremental scoring on the underside of your "Fine Line" allow you a 1/4", 1/2", 1", 2" and 2-1/2" widths for line design stitching.

Each CC ruler has registration lines at the 45 degree angle, registration lines at the center ruler width, and center ruler length. The solid laser scored lines give you width dimensions of 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1".

The fit is actually prescribed by a patented size chart. The borders of the quilt top are marked along the centerline, from corner miter to corner miter. The centerline is then measured. Use the size chart to look up the measurements and see which repeat size will work to give four corners that match!
