Basic Overall Pattern with no border - $.012 to $.019 sq. inch.  Basic/Simple pattern quilted overall freehand over the entire surface of the quilt, including the border.

Fancy Overall Pattern with no border - $.017 to $.023 sq. inch. Fancy Freehand pattern quilted over the entire surface of the quilt, including the border.

Overall Pattern with borders: $.018-$.022 sq. inch.  One pattern quilted overall freehand with a different pattern or design in each border.

Custom Quilting: $.020-$.030 sq. inch.  This type of quilting includes a wide variety of block designs, either freehand or stencils. It may include some stitch in the ditch as needed. Separate border treatments, either freehand or stencils. May also include some small density stippling or background meandering in portions of the quilt.

Sampler, Heirloom or Block of the Month: $.030-$.060 sq. inch. This category may also include some Round Robins. This type of quilting might include crosshatching, straight lines, stitch in the ditch around applique or piecing, quilting in applique designs, dense stippling /freehand background fill in many areas, faux trapunto, and custom block designs. Custom block designs might include tissue paper patterns or designs transferred on the top with wash-away pen. With Sampler and B.O.M. tops, many have different quilting needs in every square inch of the top, thus the higher cost. This price also  includes different border designs.

Art Quilts: Minimum is $75.00 - Priced per piece.

Other Charges:

Turning Quilt -$10.00.  I do many border designs without turning, but occasionally need to turn the quilt to continue a design smoothly.

Thread - $2.00 to $16.00, Signature and King Tut Variegated will be at the higher end.

Piece Backing-$10.00 first seam-$2.50 each additional seam. Includes pressing.

Binding:

Machine sewn on front - $.04 in. Binding already made and pressed, we sew on front.

Machine sewn on front/We make - $.07 in. We make binding, straight grain, then sew to front.

Bias Machine Sewn on front/We make - $.10 in. We make binding on bias, sew on front.

Full Machine Sewn to back/Turned and Sewn to front - $.15 in. (Straight grain only, Bias additional;)

Hand Sew Binding - $.13 in. additional.

Sleeve on Back-Make and Machine Sew on Edge - $. 11 inch.
