Description

Have you ever wondered why there are numerous types of batting? Why a polyester might be more beneficial than a cotton? Look no further! We have much information to share with you thanks to Stephanie Hackney / Director of Sales & Marketing from Hobbs Bonded Fibers. We hosted a live webinar and were fortunate enough to be able to record and can now share with you!

‘Batting: What’s Inside Matters’ Presented by Stephanie Hackney Director of Sales & Marketing, Craft & Retail Division Hobbs Bonded Fibers

This lecture offers quilters and other creatives a chance to learn all about batting!

This lecture covers:
- the 5 questions we ask quilters to assist them in narrowing down the many batting choices to what’s ‘best’ for achieving the results they desire;
- the various fiber types, and pros and (potential) cons of each type;
- what we recommend for specific use cases (modern quilts, charity quilts, art quilts, wall hangings, runners, throws, etc.);
- proper use and care of battings and quilts;
- tips and tricks for best results;
- and, a bit of fun!

ALL Hobbs Bonded Fibers Batting have a specific label or packaging that indicates: the date it was made, warehouse it was manufactured in, type of fiber(s), the ship date, etc. We encourage you to keep the label or packaging so that if there are any flaws or defects with the batting you can call Hobbs Customer Service Department (254) 741-0040 and they can assist you.
